Each year, we complete 1,000+ voyages over 24 core trade routes on behalf of 300+ customers. We transport metals, minerals, agricultural products and construction materials – and specialist cargoes like wind turbine blades and components – across six continents.

We develop freight services in partnership with our clients, creating customised solutions to often complex and time-sensitive shipping needs.

We have a large owned and controlled fleet of modern, fuel-efficient vessels. This strong asset base gives us the flexibility to cater to niche cargo requirements, take on multi-year contracts and give our customers total confidence that we will deliver, whatever the market conditions. We enjoy long-term relationships with our clients and many of first customers are still working with us today – almost 30 years after we began operations.

MUR works closely with customers to help them meet new IMO and EU regulations and decarbonise their own supply chain. This includes providing advice on ship designs and trade routes, sharing detailed information on the carbon emissions of each MUR voyage, and offering carbon offsetting via the purchase and retirement of verified carbon units.
